With the information you give about the shot, you mention two lenses - were they used back to back to create the macro effect?

I agree with McNicks assessment that it could be cropped closer although coming in too far will lose the strength of the strong angles and areas of space.

The most distracting element for me is the white blob about a 1/3rd of the way in from the left and up from the bottom. It is so bright that it pulls away from the area that is in focus.
