What if you tried a photo shop element that allowed you to have black and white in specific areas, and color in the grassy area along with the fenced area?
It would show the beauty of nature in the image, and highlight the fenced area as well. You could make the colors bold or subtle depending on the feel you were trying to achieve in the image. If you dont have a program that does this, I could try to do it for you on mine to show you the effects.
