Seriously, just because an IDEA has become hackneyed doesn't mean it's a bad idea. I used to have a poster on my wall growing up that had corollaries to Murphy's Law. One of them was, "The race isn't always to the swift, or the fight to the strong, but that's the way to bet." Likewise, most of these ideas that have been listed are listed because they ARE images people like, and they are challenging to recreate, but even more challenging to recreate WELL.

Putting together something that has been done before and STILL IMPRESSING PEOPLE is the real challenge.

That said, I can't believe hot chicks on a car and birds on a telephone wire haven't been mentioned yet.
