Could you post them a bit smaller? Some of us are limited to smallish screens and would prefer to be able to take them in a glance rather than having to scroll around. Also, if you post pictures of this size in threads with lots of pics, it throws the alignment of the forum out and slows things down for people who aren't on fast connections.
Up to about 500px for the longest dimension plus a link to the original size seems the optimal way to do it.
