I like the idea.

To me, the depth of field is too shallow and starts too far away.
Look into "hyperfocal distance" (http://www.nikonians.org/html/resour...perfocal2.html)
Had you taken this at f11 the hayperfocal distance would have been aprox 8meters. So if focused at 8m then everything from 4 meters to infinity would have been in focus. At f5 the hyperfocal distance is closer to 20 meters, so if focused at 20 meters; everything from 10m- infinity would be in focus.Using a shorter focal length increases the depth of field as well. It looks like you focused too close as well even
for your settings...(the rule of focusing 1/3 into the field of view helps)
