I love the picture! I think the manhole covers add to the composition, but I like things like that - a little edgier or something I guess.
I would've turned to the right just a bit so the colored curb doesn't leave the frame before coming back in. Also the top of the taller, dark, building is cut off and maybe the very tip of the clock tower.
