Does anyone use this lens on their Sony Alpha series camera? I have just purchased one of these lenses online today and I have to say I'm pretty excited about it! I've read a lot of reviews and personal opinions on the beercan lens and they are all good. I just purchased a Sony A100 a few months ago, along with the 18-70mm and 70-300mm sony lenses. I'm totally in love with the camera....the lenses not so much. I have got some nice shots with both lenses but on average not what I was expecting. Of course a lot could be blamed on user error as I'm fairly new to the dslr scene.
I'm really looking forward to trying out my new beercan lens when it arrives....and hoping it lives up to my expectations. Anyone else care to share any comments/advice regarding the 70-210 f4 beercan lens? Also, what other lenses would be good to add to my collection? I'm thinking a 50mm prime lens might be a good one to have.
