Spend the money for an actual rain sleeve, Protect your 1000 investment with a $20 sleeve.
Although properly cut out the big 2.5 gallon ziploc works wonders.
and like stated above, for all mean, DRY you equipment off big time before you put it away, otherwise you'll go to use it next time & you'll find fungus on your lens.
