Opps! Didn't see this thread and started a new thread introducing myself. I hope the moderator can move it here.

Here's what I wrote there:

Hi: I'm Rusty Sterling and I'm a newbie to this forum but not to photography. I'm 60 and I worked for 15 years as a double-threat man for newspapers (combo reporter/photojournalist). I've been away from it for awhile but I've been feeling the itch to shoot again.

I still have my film gear: Nikon FE2 with Nikkor 55mm, Vivatar 28-85 macro zoom, Vivatar 70-210 zoom. But I don't use the Nikon much these days.

I also have a Konica-Miranda A2 that I've used the last couple of years and gotten some nice shots.

For P&S I use a Sony DSC-S60, which has given me some nice shots.

My main rig is a Canon 40D with Canon 28-135mm zoom, Canon 100-300mm zoom, and Sigma 10-20mm wide zoom. This rig is fairly new to me but I'm loving the images that I'm getting.

I've been lurking on this site for about a month now and love some of the shots I've seen. Lot's of very talented shooters here.
