Three more quick thoughts:
1. If somebody were being picky, they might cite a couple of small technical flaws. You have a bit of glare on fingertips and right thumb. It doesn't bug me much (only noticed when I went to play with the pic a bit in GIMP). If you were at all worried about it, or if you haven't tried one before and want to attempt a new technique, you could try a contrast mask to see if that improved things at all (lots of tutorials around).
2. I think it could be said that your reds are a bit dominant in the shot. I fiddled a bit, and one option would be to selectively desaturate the reds by about 10-15 and see how you like it. You could also try reducing saturation by a like amount globally, which I think would work nicely here, either on its own or in combination with red desaturation.
3. Thinking along the lines of desaturation, I think that because of the textures in the skin, this would make a great black and white shot. Be sure to try a few techniques -- I don't think desaturation or converting grayscale will do it justice. I quickly fiddled in channel mixer, and 60 green 40 red looked okay -- but maybe not optimal. Play with contrast on your conversion too. If you go BW though, you will have to address the white spot in the background at upper right -- it will really jump out.
