I'm very interested in buying a netbook, but I think I'll wait until heading off to college next fall because one I buy now will surely be obsolete. My two cents is that with the prices of SD card storage these days, expandability in regards to hard drive space is not as much of a problem. You can get 32 GB SD cards which can expand the netbook very nicely. My favorite is the offering from HP, mini 700 I believe they call it.
