Photography-related would be DigiKam for organizing and simple editing, GIMP for more complex editing and UFRAW for the infrequent times I have a RAW file to work with. For uploading to Flickr I use jUploadr. I'm also using the commandline "exiftool" because GIMP *still* strips out IPTC tags
, hopefully they'll address that issue.
Firefox is my browser of choice on any OS and for anti-malware duty on my wife's Windows system we installed free versions of Avast!, Ad-Aware and Threatfire.
