wow.. that was ALOT of reading.. but well worth it.

me.. what do i take with me..

well.. ive only realy gone out to take photos twice. and that was only because it he rain scared me from racing in the race. seeing as i only have a P & S. i don't have much camera gear. other then a camera carry case, 16GB HDSD card and a spare battery.

but what i did take with me on both occasions that i would have died without ( maby literaly ) was a "camel back", and a bright orange reflective jacket.

this camelback has been a lifesaver for me on many occasions. i realy suggest more people buy them. its a simple backpack with a bladder and a long straw, holds anywhere from 1.5L to 3L, and you can buy additonal bladders so how much of the cool stuff u take it up to you. ive put ice cubes in it many a time and they have stayed icy cold for hours thanks to the thermos design. it weighs absolutly nothing. say when i have it full with 1.5L it would weigh 1.6KG.. so yea
