Default Autumn Landscape

This is my first post here. I am pretty new to digital photography and photoshop, I am still learning the basics.

I took this photo this past fall in Peru, Ma. The picture didnt come out as I had hoped, the colors were pretty dull, so I fooled around with the contrast and some of the colors. I want to get the power line out of the picture, but I am not experienced enough with photoshop yet.

Did I contrast it too much?

Does it look fake or too much post production?

Anything you would have done differently?

Any and all ideas on how I can improve this picture or pictures I take in the future would be greatly appreciated.
