This is the money no object option but as far as I am aware there are some basic things you wouldn't be able to do if you only had one of them. (CS4 if for image editing, LR2 is for photography but not advanced editing).If you've got the money go for it.
If not PSE6 is a great cheap alternative that can do fairly advanced editing (although not in the CS4 league), image orgainisation and batch processing of RAW files (although not as well as LR2). And all this for 10% of the price.
