My goal with this "what would you do" was to give this birdie a new home. But, what I did here I wouldn't normally do to my own photographs...
...I like to try to preserve reality...but in this case we are having fun and practicing post-processing!
What I did:
-Cloned cloned and cloned some more...took out all the leaves and then cloned in some new parts of the bird's head.
-Increased the brightness (curves)
-Copied the image
-Opened an image of mine that included a bird's nest with eggs.
-Pasted the copied baby bird as a new layer onto this new photo.
-Erased the 'background' of the copied bird image so just the bird's head remained.
-Cloned some new nest sticks into the bird's body to make it look more realistic.
So now the baby birdie has some brothers and sisters yet to hatch...
