I exposed the picture for 30 seconds, which I believe is too long. If you view this picture in full size, the movement of stars and branches is visible, and since the lights were moving rapidly, I didn't catch the different shapes that the light created. All you see in this picture is one big mass of green light. So stay tuned! These lights shall not escape my CMOS sensor this winter, LOL.

at a small size the star trail is only barely visible, its a great shot, i think its a bit more dramatic like this with the longer exposure as you get more green. maybe next time find a foreground object that wont move as much?
