Oops I didn't look at this sticky. I'll paste what I said before
I love this website. I don't recall how I came across it, but besides the tutorial bits, the assignments (haven't contributed to any yet) give me reason to go out and shoot...things to look for as a challenge.
I've been taking pictures for about a year and a half and now - ok since the start - want to delve into it as a career. I've got plenty of photos, so my portfolio is overdue...I guess you could say I haven't decided what I'm offering anyone yet and holding back until I know what it is. I'm very interested in nature, landscape, black & white, and recently I've tried other styles which appeal to me so that broadens my 'seeing' and makes me very happy when I come home with photos that are not typical of what I've posted.
I've wanted to join a forum oriented towards constuctive criticism for photography rather than 'i like it' or 'i don't'
Errr and I am 24 male, living in Ontario, Canada near Toronto taking credits toward a Photography Studies certificate (more for history really). Anyone else go here?
