Hi, new member here, was pointed to DPS via Macworld last week and just joined the forum today. Currently a student in Columbus, OH. I'm not majoring in photography, but I am the chief photog for the campus newspaper. I've been shooting a little over a year. My personal body is a D50, but half the time I'm using the school's D200. As far as software and computer goes I'm using Lightroom and CS2 on a G4 Powerbook (Tiger).

I shoot a wide variety of stuff, from sports to street to nature.

I've had entries in two art student shows and I've received an award in each one, hoping to expand and do a few more shows this year. That's everything I can think of for the moment, so I'll just include a few on my favorite shots and a link to the rest! I'm posting all the images at the smallest possible resolution, for the full size simply click the image.

I call him Bartholomew the Caterpillar. This was taken on Labor Day at the Columbus Zoo in Columbus, OH. He is actually not affiliated with the zoo, he was merely on the sidewalk. Drew quite a crowd.

Stephansdom Cathedral in Vienna, Austria. The building across the plaza is completely mirrored and caught the late morning sun just right so that the sky wasn't overexposed and the building wasn't underexposed.

One of my soprano friends during our production of The Mikado, she had the lead female role. I was amazed at the lack of noise, the lighting was terrible for photography (shot at ISO1600).

Sports shot, basketball (obviously). My favorite part about this one is the guy going down with the foot in his face.
