Default The more Mili Amp Hours (mAH) the better.

I use Duracell NiMH 2650mAH Rechargeable in mb SB900 and they last about 400-500 shots.

I took a look at Enloops and are 2000mAH but from their site they claim that its like a 2500mAH, never bought them to compare. Has anyone?

"Higher voltage means that Eneloop 2000 mAh batteries will have similar performance to 2500mAh conventional rechargeables."

Also enloops claim long storage time, since I already have the Duracell 2650's and intend to use my equipment every week, the ability to store them charged for a ling time just doesn't sell me. Are they better in the cold weather??

Also picked up an "ok" charger that shows a charge of each battery.

Targus with 2700mAH batteries.

Also I would make sure the batteries are made in Japan.

From Consumer Reports.com

Recommended Duracell (2650mAh) 7.50
Energizer e2 (2500mAh) 6.00
Recommended Duracell Precharged (2000mAh) 8.00
Sony (2500 mAh) 6.00

they didn't include Enloops

first time i went i bought "duracell power pix", which supposedly gets the most out your camera...your POINT AND SHOOT camera...but i figured it would work ok in my speedlite..it did, then significantly slowed down. I have a nikon sb-600, love it..i can get 8 flashes in rapid succession before a 2.5 - 5 second recharge.

so, i bought duracell's "rechargeable batteries 2650 mAh" which is supposed to be the top the line best choice for digital photography...ive yet to test these out so we'll see.

i'm wondering if anyone has any reccomendation on rechargeable battery types or any suggestions.

thanks much!
