If the site itself was being used to generate sales - I'd take the best representative samples you have in each catgeory and limit yourself to those. I guess what I'm saying is that if a potential client is looking for someone to take a photograph of a bowl of Oranges and you only have a bowl of cherries in your portfolio then it's no big deal - they'll see how competent you are with light, focus, composition and creativity from your bowl of cherries - and that's what they are looking for and will ask if you can do oranges.

That is if I'm understanding what you are setting up properly?
