When I post edited photos to this "what you would do" series, I make sure I mark the photo as "private" in Flickr. That way, it shows up on DPS, but no one else can view it on Flickr. I'm sure it's ok what happened to the cat photo since you did give credit to Richard. Perhaps you could just make those sorts of photos private in the future. Hope this helps.
