It is SOOC. I havent done any changes. The only reason I asked about OS is because the way "Properties" window is displayed might be different. Though am not sure if that would make any difference.
@Candleman - I use the PictureProject that came with the camera and installed the codec from Nikon's site so that I can see thumbnails in Vista.
I already sent the .NEF file to Max and he took the pain to try on his side. Unfortunately he was not able to see any exif, whereas I can see the exif.
EDIT: @Candleman - As I mentioned in my original message I dont lose exif when I convert NEF to jpg using PictureProject. It is lost when I open NEF in CS2 and "save as" jpg
