About the basic Photoshop learning: I was thinking of writing a tutorial about it, but there are already lots of resources about that, some of them are not free but I think it's understandable given the time invested in describing every aspect of photoshop. Is it really difficult to find free basic Photoshop tutorials? If so I'd consider starting a series about that on my blog
