1. Learn to look at your subject in new ways. Use different angles, aperture settings, etc. Experiment. Once you have a camera, digital photography is cheap, so shoot a lot.
2. You need to know the rules before you can break them. Take the time to learn about composition.
3. You don't need the most expensive equipment to take a good photograph. Have fun
