Hello - I am a wife and mom with a desire to go beyond the point and shoot realm. Actually I have had the desire for a while but was not sure where to start. I own a Canon Rebel with the standard 18-55mm EFS lens that I had hoped to start with. However, after playing with the modes, developing film and forgetting what I had done, I got frustrated and went back to point and shoot. I also received a digital camera as a gift a few years back. It has worked good. I have just recently ordered the Kodak Z712is and am hoping to actually learn how to be in control of my shoots and become creative.

I have no idea what most of the terminology is or what it means so hopefully I am not too much of a novice to learn from this site.

Looking forward to doing the assingments...just not sure where to start?
