Shutterbug, until you can get the CS3 or Lightroom, you can (as I mentioned in my post above) use the DNG Converter program to convert your RAW files so you can use them in Photoshop CS.

You can download the CS-compatible Camera Raw plug in (v. 2.4) here:

http://www.adobe.com/support/downloa...jsp?ftpID=2701

And the DNG Converter here:
http://www.adobe.com/support/downloa...jsp?ftpID=3941 (this is for Windows users and includes Camera Raw 4.5 update - just don't put this Camera Raw 4.5 icon into your plug in folder otherwise it will overwrite the Camera Raw 2.4 from above).

If you are a Mac person, you can find the DNG Converter here:
http://www.adobe.com/support/downloa...jsp?ftpID=3940

Here's a little info from Adobe's site...

How to use newer cameras with earlier versions of the Photoshop Camera Raw plug-in

New releases of the Photoshop Camera Raw plug-in are generally only compatible with the current versions of Adobe products. If you use an earlier version of an Adobe product, and you use a camera that requires a later version of the Photoshop Camera Raw plug-in, you can use the latest version of the free Adobe DNG Converter to convert your camera raw files to DNG (Digital Negative) files. DNG files can be opened in an Adobe product that supports the Photoshop Camera Raw 2.3 plug-in or later.
