I'll bet a dollar to a stale donut that your 'snapshots' are 300 times better taken photographs than the stuff I've seen from the people I'm talking about. The two guys that I know that bought identical Olympus DSLRs have no idea about any other modes than auto and have no desire to learn. Which makes me want to ask them why they bought such a versatile camera if they don't intend to use it to more than just standard P&S capability.
Like I said, I LOVE the knowledge I've gotten from reading these forums and don't regret it one bit. I've gone from something I liked in photography to something I LOVE to do. I'm thankful for that.
