Thought I'd share -- This really charming old man spoke only his native dialect but he could communicate with his smile. His
kulintang-playing was a "side attraction" at an indigenous architecture fair. He was actually sitting down, resting, when we saw him, wiping his face with that towel on his shoulders (surely not part of the traditional garb), but happily obliged to play for the kids visiting. His hands DID move like lightning, and we were all awed.
