I can hear the hard drive spinning like crazy and I get the spinning beach ball when just trying to go through the pictures in my library.

My library is on 2 Seagate 400GB hard drives in a RAID 0 configuration so I don't think my hard drive speeds are the issue.

Any suggestions? Would an upgraded graphics card make a difference? More Ram?

Thanks.
Just a thought... is your library on a different drive to the application?.. I know that when we used to run photoshop with the scratch disk on the same partition it ran like a real pig..(a real SLOW pig) ...maybe worth a shot?

How big is your library?...Like I said, my library crashed and burned altogether!
