Hey there Kate... So, workflow, for me, is Camera to PC / Mac to Editing (if required) to Finished Shot.
This is how my workflow used to look:
Camera, memory card reader, copy to folder, open in paint shop pro, finished product.. This is when I was shooting in JPG the whole time.. now that i'm shooting raw all the time, I have changed the way I do things...
Having tried Aperture and Lightroom I have decided to stick with LightRoom and the process is now as follows.
Camera -> Lightroom -> Photoshop (if req'd) -> Finished product.
The current ver of Aperture is 1.5.3 not sure of the product roadmap. You can download a trial
