Default Aperture Speed Issues
Hi All,

I use Aperture and while I love it, it seems a bit slow. I have a Mac Pro 2.66 GHz with 2GB of RAM. I only have the stock NVIDIA 7300GT card and have thought about upgrading, but the slowness seems to be with the hard drive access. I can hear the hard drive spinning like crazy and I get the spinning beach ball when just trying to go through the pictures in my library.

My library is on 2 Seagate 400GB hard drives in a RAID 0 configuration so I don't think my hard drive speeds are the issue.

Any suggestions? Would an upgraded graphics card make a difference? More Ram?
