windrider86, that is wild!! I really like it.

Firemaine, excellent OOB work!!

First I want to say that this is already a great shot...nicely exposed, good color, etc. I decided to go the monochrome route, but with a twist. As I started playing with histogram sliders I found the front deer to be turning white. I decided to leave it that way and pretend it is a White Stag, like that in Narnia or something.

What I did (in PSP Photo XI):
-Desaturated 100%
-Unsharp mask (radius 75, strength 20)
-Histogram Midtones adjustment (-30)
-Time Machine filter: Platinum
-Shadows/Highlights adjustment
-Duplicated layer
-Top layer: another Histogram Midtones adjustment (-15)
-Top layer: erased sky, trees and all other deer except the "White Stag"
-Merged 2 layers

What you would do #58 (edit)
