I like the placement of the reader. The fact that the wall takes up a large portion of the photograph gives good context. The choice of B&W also serves to bring out the texture in the walls. What bothers me about the framing is the slightly oblique line running along the bottom. All of the other lines are very straight, orthogonal and give the photograph a formal feel. The bottom edge interrupts that theme. You could try cropping it to see if that completes the formality of the photograph.
