Just joined last night and thought a proper intro would be in order...
I live in Wilmington, DE and work in Philadelphia. I find Philly one of the most photogenic places I've ever been and try to sneak a few hours shooting where & when I can, without stranding my wife with our three kids for too long.
I've had some success as a photographer using my Sony H5, with a gallery opening (One sale! To my Dad...
) and some work photographing fashion, through a former intern at my work. I recently lucked out and was chosen to shoot some employees at my work in conjunction with my company's 25th Anniversary website. (I find doing things for free sometimes provides leads for other things...)
That said, I recently got a Sony A100 and am thoroughly overwhelmed by it and look forward to spending some time shooting, learning the manual and doing some assignments here. Must. Stop. Using. Auto.
