I own this camera. Previously, I had the SP-550UZ. The 550 was an OK camera. But, the 570 is a wowzer. It is touted as a P&S with the soul of a DSLR and that's not far off the mark. Nothing's perfect, however. The only two things I find fault with is having to use adapter tubes to use filters; and XD picture cards instead of SD cards. There are so many improvements over the 550 and 560 that they'd be hard to list. Let's start with the hotshoe; a total revamp of the function button location, the zoom ring (takes some getting used to, for sure), larger LCD (not by much but it's something), it seems faster to me and the IQ seems improved. If you read the "professional" reviews, they seem so wishy-washy or even negative. This camera is destined to be a classic!
