there are 3 methods... all with the 50mm
- is having one of your lenses attached to your camera and hand holding a 50mm prime lens against the lens attached to your camera so both front elements are facing each other (hardest method.. plus chance of scratching your lenses..)
- second is getting a attachment to attach to the front of both lenses.. the threads being male /male (eliminates the scratching of lenses)
- 3rd option is getting a Reverse Lens Macro adapter to fit your camera with a male thread so you can attach the 50mm prime in reverse to your camera.. with no other lenses
All of these require a very steady hand .. or tripod.. i have tried this with no tripod and hand held a 50mm to my sigma 70-300mm with these as a result
