The high ISO setting is not just for low light shots !!
I wanted to get a sharp image of the runners as the crossed the finish line at a local track meet, so I need a high shutter speed 1/1600 second. I also wanted all the runners in focus so a small aperture of f11. Now to get both I had to crank the ISO up to 1000.
I think the shot came out fine with little grain for such a high ISO
