I am new to photography and just bought my first SLR - the E-510 w/ the two kit lenses.
I bought the 12-60 SWD and it's an amazing lens!!! Kinda pricey, but I'm glad I spent the extra money for it. I was considering the 14-54, but thought the 12-60 would be a good investment, especially if I decide to get the E3 someday. The extra 2 mm (12-14) makes a pretty big difference.
The camera focuses so much faster and the pics look very nice!!!
