Hi. My name is Alissa. I live in the western part of Kentucky with my police officer husband and 2 little boys, ages 5 and 3. I've been a shutterbug my entire life, but have really gotten into photography over the past few years. I purchased my first DSLR, a Canon Rebel XT, this past September. I am completely self-taught when it comes to photography, and it shows. I have neither the time nor the money for classes at this point in my life. I read books and magazines and internet articles and forums, and I take photos and more photos. Some of them are good. Most of them are just OK. My real interest lies in landscape photography, although I'll photograph anything that wanders past my camera. And, of course, my boys are frequent, if reluctant, subjects. I hope to learn alot here.
