To study dog conformation.....
I'll travel 3,000 miles to go to the Great Dane Nationals on the other side of the country in order to photograph Great Danes I am interested in. Nothing helps more than taking pictures of an entire line of dogs in a pedigree I am researching. And the movie option on my camera allows me to study the dog's movement. If an animal is not put together well, it can't move correctly. My photo library reinforces the judgements I have made on individual dogs and entire breed lines. My camera is a much more accurate tool than my memory.
