I'm trying to breakout of the usual point and shoot mode that I've been stuck in with the Fujifilm MX-1200(newly retired). The Panasonic Lumix, DMC-LZ4, I have now is a good user friendly point and shoot for beginners with lots of pre-arranged photo setups. But for a beginner like me it doesn't offer enough manual freedom to advance as broadly as I imagine I could. Baby steps..... for now.
Fujifilm MX-1200 (Rest in Peace, decided the rubber bands holding it together were tacky).
