Yes, I was aware of it when I took the shot, at first I wasn't sure if I'd like it. After doing a bit of adjustments I decided to keep it in, as it seemed to lead my attention into the sky, and then the stars.
And besides, if you were that tree, would you want me to edit out your arm????
