There's been some talk around DPS lately about the idea of "Taking your camera everywhere", something I personally am trying to do more of. I thought it would be fun to start a thread sharing the fruits of this practice. In other words, come post your favorite shots that were made possible by having your camera with you for no good reason. For some people, this might be how they get most of their photos. For others, there may just be a few gems. I think it would be a good way to encourage people to start bringing there camera along to more than just sporting events and birthdays.
To get us started, here's a shot from my drive to work this morning. We've been getting lots of snow lately (and lots of clouds) and it was refreshing to see the sun light up the early morning hours. The clouds showed with pale pastel colors (not quite captured in the photo) that were quietly beautiful.
