I have different bags for my different cameras. the bags have grown as the cameras have. i think my favorite bag was a small sling type bag that hung from my back with one strap going across my chest, it was very small, but it kept my camera and batteries and things I would normally carry in a purse (ditched the purse). I could carry it over one shoulder like a purse, or throw it on over for hands free/no worries carrying. With my dslr I have the same style of bag, but it is specifically for cameras. And I still don't carry a purse, this doubles. I also still have my first digital camera, that is quite small and I tuck it into whatever I am carrying or my pocket. And yes I have had some people comment on my carrying it, but for the most part they are all used to me by now, plus it is worth it for the pictures I did NOT miss. (some of the ones that have commented on my having it, have also asked for copies of what I have snapped)
