personally, composition will always be the most important aspect. your equipment merely aids you to capture something that your eyes - your primary "camera" can see.
the way i look at it, all the recent advances in gears & software are all attempts in making sure that when you do decide to press that shutter button, you end up capturing
exactly what you saw.
