NOT SO FAST MY FRIENDS!!!!

So I went to the store and asked to the salesman to put a battery on it... They went and looked for the damn thing for over half an hour. They brought it and and I finally saw the D90 with the power on. And the difference was obvious, no noise and a brighter viewfinder. I noticed that lcd screen didn't turned off as i put my eye close to the viewfinder... I don't know if the camera has this feature.

Still, the viewfinder in the 50D is clearer that the D90... But I'm sure that the D90 they showed me has some serious issues, it didn't focused at all most of the times and the DOF preview button didn't work. I'm sure that if I look at the sensor or the mirror I'll find a nice finger print or something like that. So I can't use that particular model as a reference.

So my question remains..

Which viewfinder is better, D90 or 50D?
