Taken on June 24, 2010 at 2.41pm BST (edit)
Camera Canon PowerShot S3 IS
Exposure 0.003 sec (1/400)
Aperture f/3.5
Focal Length 48.6 mm
Exposure Bias 0 EV
Flash Off, Red-eye reduction
Subject Distance 3.07 m
Metering Mode Spot

I took this (and a few others ) today. My children always wear hats, so that helps, but spot metering works wonders for skin tones!
I also found that really close up was good (not used for this shot though).
Although the picture was taken at 2.41pm the sun was still VERY bright and right overhead ~ there was very little shade to be found!
