Sorry bout moving your thread I thought I was looking in the share your shots thread and felt it was out of place...
I think its a great piece to have for portability and when you are not sure where you'll be shooting.
I have the smaller one but is a bit weak for my camera with Battery grip and lens but still works decently. I would suggest get the largest one regardless of the camera you have. Never know when you'll be upgrading.
Its great for running around with friends and not sure where you'll be able to set up a tripod...very versatile.
