Do You Take a Digital Camera With You Everywhere? [POLL]
This week’s reader poll picks up on some of the discussion we’ve had here recently about improving your photography by taking your camera with you everywhere you can.
I’m interested to see if people do. Here’s the poll:
Of course all of these answers won’t quite fit with everyone’s style and situation – so pick the closest one to your situation and then tell us about your answer in more detail in comments below.

I’m not allowed to have my camera at school, but I take it pretty much everywhere else!

i try

I take a point-and-shoot, but I chose my camera carefully to make sure that it still had manual controls for aperture, shutter speed, focus, etc. So it’s small, but it has a lot of the same control as a DSLR.

I’ve been sticking to my new years resolution of taking a picture every day. I always bring my P&S with me, and usually make it around on the weekends with my camera bag and DSLR wherever I go.
It it tough to bring the big camera to work and whatnot, but having the point and shoot in my pocket has worked wonders on seeing the world more through the lens whenever I’m walking around.

Nowadays, I’ve always got a Polaroid riding shotgun with the DSLR in my bag. It’s good for capturing spontaneous urban weirdness. Plus, if the impossible project doesn’t get off the ground, it’d be nice to have a small library of Polaroids to look back on years from now.

Hmm. No checkmark for rangefinders. Guess I’ll go with Point & shoot as my answer.
January 30th, 2009 at 9:28 am
I take my Nikon D-40 with 18/200 mm lens and sometimes a tripod. I would like to carry just a point & shoot but don’t know what to buy, because I want to maintain quality, maybe someone could offer some suggestions.
January 30th, 2009 at 9:35 am
Point and shoot FTW :)
January 30th, 2009 at 9:36 am
I would carry my actual camera everywhere I go, but you know, DSLRs are just too darn heavy to go EVERYWHERE.
January 30th, 2009 at 9:45 am
No. Most of the time I leave my 40D at my dorm room. I can quickly run back to my room if I need it, but mostly just shoot it for special occasions and planned photo “adventures”
However, I have a small Rebel G with a 50mm 1.8 in my backpack at all times.
I like film better :)
January 30th, 2009 at 10:15 am
I am looking for a bag that will hold both my DSL camera and my lap top and not way a ton. Would love some suggestions–
January 30th, 2009 at 10:32 am
Yep… I carry dSLR with me even when I go to the shop which is 2 minutes away from the house. Got some nice rainbow pictures that way. The only time I don’t take it with me is when I go for my kickboxing training (one bag too much).
January 30th, 2009 at 10:37 am
I carry my point and shoot Olympus waterproof with me everywhere and my D40 for special occasions/photographic trips and classes I will need/want it for (I’m a film student).
January 30th, 2009 at 11:29 am
DSLR -everywhere, all the time, unless expresly prohibited. Don’t carry complete kit though, just camera with 28-100 zoom.
January 30th, 2009 at 11:34 am
I would but I cannot take my camera to work (confidentiality policy) and I don’t feel comfortable leaving it in the car.
January 30th, 2009 at 11:54 am
extended zoom cameras get no love :(
January 30th, 2009 at 12:01 pm
I take it to all special occasions, and occasionally just out and about. But how many times can you take a picture of walmart? As a stay at home mom, that’s the place I see the most. ;)
(And, yes, I have taken some pictures of Walmart.)
January 30th, 2009 at 12:25 pm
I take it dslr everywhere. I’m a lineman and it’s in my truck with me all day. I also have a monopod which is hidden in my truck. My boss is a really good guy, and hasn’t ever complained. I have taken some nice photos with my truck in the background and they’re on my desk at work. If I go for a drive, it’s in my car. If I go for a walk I put it in my back pack.
January 30th, 2009 at 12:28 pm
If I plan on taking pictures, I always take my DSLR, but just in case, I always have my point and shoot in my purse.
Love, love, love taking pictures……………………:)
January 30th, 2009 at 12:42 pm
I like having my DSLR with me when I go places (though at times in gets it the way), mostly to avoid missing out on a great shot. :D
January 30th, 2009 at 1:41 pm
Just got a DSLR and would love to take it with me everywhere but with it being so cold out I have been scared. Are they safe in the cold?
January 30th, 2009 at 2:05 pm
I’d like to take camera everywhere but with -30C it’s not good idea
January 30th, 2009 at 2:20 pm
I always have a point and shoot with me for anything that comes along….but if I think about where I’m going and I can handle the extra baggage I bring my DSLR.
January 30th, 2009 at 2:34 pm
I carry my DSLR most of the time to go to places, but at certain places, the point and shoot is much better, less obvious, safer and easier to carry (especially in a superbly crowded area, like clubs).
January 30th, 2009 at 2:34 pm
I hardly ever have my dslr with me unless I plan on taking photos…I often wish I did, though…but I’m secretly afraid that I will brake it!
January 30th, 2009 at 2:51 pm
My EOS 40D is with me almost everywhere. I just wish I could afford the battery grip and hand strap so I could stop using the neck strap.
January 30th, 2009 at 3:23 pm
I travel a lot for work and I take my DLSR with me. I don’t want to miss any of those good shots… I love not knowing what is around the corner… But I always have my camera ready to catch whatever happens to be there.
January 30th, 2009 at 4:00 pm
I usually just have my iphone with me, however I don’t get out much during the day and night time shooting with any phone camera really blows. I suppose I should take at least a point and shoot with me.
January 30th, 2009 at 4:37 pm
I tend to leave my DSLR safe at home, the sheer weight and volume of it does not warent it to be with me unless I know I am going to need it. I always carry a point and shoot though and if I can’t get to the point and shoot I have a 5MP camera on my phone that has served me well. I think the idea is to get the shot at any time, anywhere and this solution alows for that.
January 30th, 2009 at 4:43 pm
I’m vaguely upset that “most places” are the highest possibilities, I take my camera Every Damn Place I Go.
January 30th, 2009 at 4:45 pm
I have a back pack that I carry my camera and my laptop in, if I know what I’ll be doing and know they will be safe with me or in the car, I like to take them along. My sister in law is a lot more hesitant to take her camera with her, but I hate to pay so much for a wonderful camera and be too shy to use it.
In reply to KATYBETH, like I said, I use a backpack. I had a tough time finding a backpack that was able to fit my laptop AND my camera bag which is about the size of a small purse inside one bag. I bought one backpack I thought would work, and it was WAY too tight. Then I found my old Jansport school backpack. I had to cut out a divider, but it works perfectly. Not tight at all, and room for extra junk. My camera bag has everything in it; a flash, extra telephoto lens, batteries, memory cards and the camera. I couldn’t manage to fit the extra battery pack grip with the lens, but I haven’t ever really needed it either. If you wanted to just carry around the camera in one of those cases that fit the camera only, your search for the right size bag may not be so bad. I did see a backpack at Best Buy designed to carry camera equipment, and you could fit your laptop in there too. Only issue was it was expensive.
January 30th, 2009 at 5:07 pm
i always have my Nokia N95 phone with me… when I see an opportunity I shoot it. If it’s something really good, I hope it’s still there the next day when I come back with my Canon 40D.
January 30th, 2009 at 5:14 pm
fritters,
There are places where it is not a good idea to take a camera, especially a DSLR. Like a job interview. Unless you are interviewing for a photography position. And there are places where cameras are prohibited, like court rooms or places where proprietary information is present.
January 30th, 2009 at 6:05 pm
I take my Dslr everywhere with me.;-)
January 30th, 2009 at 6:48 pm
I write a food blog, so when I suspect that my outing will put me in the path of a new food stop, my dSLR comes along. And it’s a rare occasion that my day doesn’t involve some sort of food adventure.
However, if I know that I’m going someplace where my dSLR would be mighty fine purse pickings, like a nightclub or bar, I’ll leave the dSLR at home and take my point-and-shoot instead.
January 30th, 2009 at 6:49 pm
I have a camera pretty much everywhere I go. A point and shoot in my pocket, a dslr over my shoulder or a “old fashioned” rangefinder or a half-frame in my hand.
January 30th, 2009 at 7:13 pm
… and if i forget it, i go back home and get it.
January 30th, 2009 at 7:50 pm
it’s hard to lug around a dslr with 3 or 4 lenses and flashes etc, and if you decide to only take some of your kit you have to decide what you don’t need. i take my dslr as many places as i can, but can’t take it to work and i don’t really wanna leave equipment that’s worth more than my car inside it! my mobile has a pretty nice camera with certain manual functions, but i think i’ll be looking for a point and shoot with some manual settings soon!
January 30th, 2009 at 8:38 pm
Canon 5D and a 50mm lens, just about everywhere I go.
January 30th, 2009 at 9:16 pm
I carry my Nikon D40 and 50mm F1.8 lens most of the time in a backpack, but rarely shoot something – because of poor lighting or simply when I take the camera out the moment is already passed. I guess I should make photographing an occasion – I mean go out to shoot and only shoot, but not to try acomplish several tasks at once :).
January 30th, 2009 at 11:37 pm
vicont, that’s was exactly my conclusion, you have to stablish a defined time to shoot. Most of us are amateurs not living from photography, with jobs, family, and so on. I do bring my P&S with me all the time AND keep my eyes and mind open to interesting shoots (and have made some that way) but the takes I like the most come from that moments I set apart to really dedicate to photography.
January 30th, 2009 at 11:42 pm
i’m at my daytime job…and my 5D is sitting at my feet in my trusty domke bag.
January 30th, 2009 at 11:47 pm
Whether its a DSLR or a clasic film SLR i hardly leave home without one. I choose one lens, depenting on where i am going. Some times i will bring a flash with me too. Funny thing is that after a while my friends stopped noticing i have a camera with me. Only when i dont…
January 30th, 2009 at 11:49 pm
I have a Sony Ericsson K790a, which has a 3.2 MP camera, and the quality is pretty good for most situations. The plan is to carry a Bessa R3A. Call me old fashioned – I still like shooting film, although I scan my negs.
January 30th, 2009 at 11:58 pm
I’m still in that state where I find it too inconvenient and risky to take my camera EVERYWHERE. But seriously I would love it because there have been many occasions where I’ve wanted to take a picture of something. I just worry about weather, stealing, bulkiness, undue wear, etc. It’s a tough one!! If I had a small pocket high-quality p&s I think I would bring it everywhere. But right now I just have a Canon 40D and a bulky Olympus C8080 p&s.
January 31st, 2009 at 12:10 am
I try to take my DSLR with me all the time.
But I’m not accurate with that.
I’m going on trying to take it as often as I can, see what’s to come!
I respect everyone who makes it to bring it nearly everywhere!
Have a good one! Christoph

I lived in Wales for a while and got into the habit of carrying my camera everywhere because, being new to the country, I never knew what was around the next corner. When I moved back to the states, I continued the habit. I’ve gotten pix of the funniest things, including a parade of elephants, a hot air balloon launch in the middle of the city and the train carrying Obama to Washington for the inauguration. It’s just a little Canon Elph, so it can go everywhere with me. I’d rather have it and not want it, than want it and not have it!
January 31st, 2009 at 1:06 am
I take mine everywhere. I live in Puerto Rico and the it starts to rain without any warning… so I always carry a plastic bag to protect it from the water.
January 31st, 2009 at 1:08 am
With my REBEL at my side. Feel like a lost kid when I forget my camera, always that missed picture if the camera is at home.
January 31st, 2009 at 1:15 am
I take my camera with me to most places. It is about a 70/30 split between the DSLR (Canon 450D) and the point & shoot (old Kodak DX4350). I am beginning to get over the stigma of the DSLR being too big/bulky to take everywhere as the picture quality is just so much better.
January 31st, 2009 at 1:36 am
At this stage of my photography and my lifestyle, I do more thinking and evaluating various scenes and how I might shoot them than actually shooting them.
Will not hesitate to return to get that shot at another time.
Never agreed with the premice that one should go around shooting willy-nilly anything that popped up in the viewfinder.
Better for me to evaluate what I do wrong on those few that I take.
January 31st, 2009 at 1:56 am
I take my P&S everywhere with me. I have an almost one year old and don’t want to miss a thing. =)
My 40D is for only special occasions.
Plus i live in Michigan and right now its too cold to try to leave it in the car too long.
January 31st, 2009 at 2:39 am
I enjoy your website. It covers a variety of subjects and gives backup data that anyone can follow. I live on the beautiful island of Vancouver, so there is so much to photograph, ocean scenes, flora and fauna life, etc.
I try to use natural ‘frames’, eg driftwood to enhance my photo’s.
January 31st, 2009 at 3:36 am
I don’t take one with me, excluding the one on my cell phone (which I personally hardly consider a camera…lol). I do, however, often think of purchasing a ‘throw-away’ P&S to have with me. I just can’t justify carrying my precious camera equipment around with me, temping fate.
I very often find myself wishing I had my camera, though. The most recent incident involved driving down a road I rarely travel, and I saw a beautiful little shack with a rusted tin roof, surrounded by a rolling field of yellow-brown hay(?). The sunlight angle, the colors, the viewing angle were perfect…but, no camera! Now, I’m going to have to make a special trip to shoot it.
The most important reason to have a camera with you at all times is to take a picture of that UFO you see, ’cause you know no one will believe you! Seriously, I’ve always heard it’s good to have one in case of an auto accident, to take pictures of the scene, damage, etc… for legal purposes.
THEO BELL – I’d check your camera specs to determine the minimum temperature you can use your camera, but MOST IMPORTANTLY – if you use it in very cold temperatures, you need to put the camera into an air-tight bag (like a big zip-lock) before you bring it back into the house. Otherwise, you’ll get condensation in the internal parts, and that can be nasty if you use it before it has time to dry out.
January 31st, 2009 at 4:16 am
I’m amazed, you guys seriously take your DSLR to the grocery store? To bars? Everytime? That’s some dedication. I take my dslr to any event, even just hanging out with friends, and also I take it out on little photowalks. But normally I keep a p&s in my purse.
January 31st, 2009 at 5:43 am
I’d love to have always with me my DSRL but it’s not always possible so I’m planing to buy a Point&Shoot to have a camera always with me :D
January 31st, 2009 at 7:46 am
Every time I leave my house without the camera, I regret it. (Grocery store? There’s that awesome sunset on the way back, argh!) My husband gave me a cool little minimalist camera bag (very similar to this one, but with small pockets on the sides too) and I love it so much I threw away my purse. The front pocket is for camera “stuff” (USB cable, charger and spare battery, maybe a filter or two), the right pocket is wallet and loose cash, and the left pocket is makeup – usually just a lipstick and a compact. If I need more “purse stuff” on a given day, I have a larger shoulder bag, and if I need more “camera stuff,” I have a “proper” camera bag – but 90% of the time, the camera, my wallet, and my phone on a belt clip is all I really want to carry.
January 31st, 2009 at 7:50 am
If allowed too I do bring my Digital Camera, if not I always have my cell phone camera as the back up.
January 31st, 2009 at 8:05 am
I have my iPhone and now my Flip HD with me always. But I do carry my full camera bag around quite often as well. Just not to the office and such.
January 31st, 2009 at 8:36 am
I always have a little Sony Cybershot in my handbag, and try to have my handbag with me if I can. In saying that I’ve never pulled it out in a shopping center to get a pic!
January 31st, 2009 at 10:48 am
I have pretty much the same reply as everyone else too. I take my P&S with me every where. My boyfriend was sweet enough to buy me one for Christmas after hearing me complain about the difficulties of taking my DSLR in tow to work and school. I do take the DSLR everywhere on the weekends or if I am heading to new place. Although my DSLR takes amazing photos, it sometimes tends to be the quick, unexpected shots with my P&S that I love best!
January 31st, 2009 at 1:20 pm
I take my nikon coolpix everywhere, even church. I am always looking for that perfect photo. Co workers
will often ask me to take a picture of a special moment and I am ready
January 31st, 2009 at 6:05 pm
i wish i could take my dslr everywhere :( but it is quite bulky to take grossing shopping. not easy moving it to the side making sure it doesn’t get rammed into the boards while i’m picking at apples and all :( but i do try taking my p&s at least, just in case something happens :)
January 31st, 2009 at 8:15 pm
I take my camera everywhere, if it’s not hanging from my neck like a necklace, then it’s in the bag hanging off my shoulder. Even if I have to make a short trip to the store, I grab it and take it with me. It’s not a pocket P&S, so sometimes it’s a little bulky, but if you didn’t capture it on camera, it didn’t happen!
February 1st, 2009 at 1:36 am
I take my DSLR with me to work 5 days/wk and my point and shoot on my days off (because I need it for my 2nd job anyway).
February 1st, 2009 at 6:16 am
gotto love all the great new thing we can do with our digi cams!!!!!!!!
February 2nd, 2009 at 10:43 am
After bought Nikon D90, I bring it everywhere I go.
February 5th, 2009 at 8:59 am
I don’t but I know I need to take my DSL with me more often, I’ve already missed some very interesting shots.
February 5th, 2009 at 9:00 am
I couldn’t imagine not having my camera with me. I’ve had 2 point and shoot digital cameras, now I have a Nikon Coolpix P80. It was given to me for Christmas. It’s the best!! I always have a camera with me.
February 5th, 2009 at 9:30 am
For over 50 years carried 35-mm film camera on hip. In 2006 went to digital and had Canon point and shoot on hip till December 2008. On 19 Dec 08 received my Canon G-10 and it is on my hip even in the office. I record from ten to 200 images each day. Some days keep none other days keep all. I just keep learning and recording. Panorama views using G-10 and Canon 40D in raw or Canon SD-770 IS. I have used 14-mm lens or 400-mm lens and all between lengths some results are great or just really bad but keep on learning. At a nighttime house fire in the rain still image material stop so used video mode on G-10 and got good record of event with normal fire department activities using scene lighting by fire units.
Having camera on my hip lets me see things that pass fast in real time but I note things in images during review. Keep seeing and be creative in makes life real and FUN. MIBAZ
February 5th, 2009 at 9:31 am
Rangefinder, if not that then a DSLR, or point and shoot. Always something.
February 5th, 2009 at 10:38 am
I am a truck driver & My wife owns a video rental store… I have a FUJI S5000 & NIKON D40….They are with me at all times.. you never know when there will be a good shot….The one thing you always here a truck driver say is “will your not going to believe this! ” Will I always have a photo to prove it……..
February 5th, 2009 at 10:50 am
Absolutely…getting used to Ultra P&S by Panasonic…love it and continue learning. We live 20 rural miles from anywhere. Always have a camera with me. You never know when the giraffe is going to escape from the zoo.
Or whatever. And people are always good subjects…they seem to be everywhere.
February 5th, 2009 at 11:09 am
I always have a Canon point and shoot in my car. When going out of town I take my Canon 40D and also carry a Panasonic Lumix LX3. My four children have followed my example and are also avid photographers.
February 5th, 2009 at 3:53 pm
I only take my Sony A350 and gear with me if I going out with the specfic intent of doing some photography. However, I keep my old Konica Minolta Dimage Z2 stored in the boot of my car – just in case an unplanned opportunity arises when I am out and about. (Then, of course, I can always use my mobile phone to take a snap shot)..
February 5th, 2009 at 4:46 pm
I try to take my nikon d80 with me most times i go to town which is about 15 km. I take it more often now, because you never know what you will miss. The other week I missed a car flipped over in the median and fire dept. still there trying to extract the driver. Would’ve made a great shot for the local paper. So you never know when , you wish you had your camera with you. Even when I’m at home in the yard , I have my camera looking for shots of shapes and objects in the snow , colours hiding from some bank, or in the summer , shots of birds, bugs and even got a shot of a garder snake eating a frog, The snake pic happened when I was sitting outside with a coffee (had my camera with me). All it takes is to look around.
February 5th, 2009 at 5:58 pm
Have only had the beast for the last two months and have been taking it with me whenever I walk the dogs or go somewhere by myself as my wife is very camera shy but i am packing it more and pore often
February 5th, 2009 at 9:17 pm
I recently bought a Canon G10 as a point & shoot because I could not take my Pentax K20D with me every day. I find the quality of the shots from the Canon are mostly very usable but I have to take care with the settings to get the best out of it.
It is not quite the best of both worlds but at least I always have a decent camera with me.
February 5th, 2009 at 10:37 pm
Of course, I take my camera (the make and model is irrelevant) into restaurants, grocery stores, etc. You simply never know when a great shot will take place. Usually, I find interesting shots when I emerge from establishments. Also, it’s a GREAT conversation piece. Often, people will inquire about my photography skills. This leads into giving them a business card, other marketing opportunities, and wonderful conversation starters. Therefore, I ALWAYS take my camera everywhere I go!

I take my D90 with almost everywhere..much to my wifes disgust sometimes! I travel about 60K one way here in SW Ontario for work each day…there is a LOT of pretty farmland and scenery..this winter has been fun for snow shots..and some of my BEST shots I got right from the seat of my car! I pulled over of course!
Like others..would take a P&S more if I had a good one.. might pick up one with anti-vibe built in..looking more for a window mount tripod!
February 6th, 2009 at 1:47 am
Yeah,
I have the DLSR with me at all times in the car and if i can’t bring that i have a samsung s1050 compact which fits nicely into my jacket pocket!
February 6th, 2009 at 2:51 am
I would love to take my sony DSLR A-100 with me all the time but I only Take it when I know i’m going some where I know theres something to shoot. am affaid some will happen to it, and my wife also thinks i’m out looking for models to pose for me Ha ha ha yeah right!!! jelous woman.
this is a great web page and have sent this to some friends
February 6th, 2009 at 4:56 am
Can’t take the camera to work so that rules out most of my time…. I do take one of my DSLRs many places except when shopping (don’t like to lock in car).
February 6th, 2009 at 4:40 pm
I have a Pentax K10D (bought it Aug ‘07) & have taken 98% of all my pics in jpeg so far. I am still a beginner & do not have time to sit & spend hours in front of a pc to fix raw pics. But I must say that I have taken a handful of pics (pictures) in raw, but don’t have a decent photo editing program to fix raw pics…& on top of that these programs are just to expensive to buy. So I will most probably stay with jpeg pics.
February 6th, 2009 at 4:43 pm
Sorry, previous comment was supposed to be in the other group. I try to take my camera with me as often as I can, but it is a bit difficult during the week when I work. Apart from that, it is with me when ever I leave home on weekends…just for that moment that it may be needed.
February 9th, 2009 at 4:19 pm
yes i take my camera everywhere i go. i find it funny taking pictures all the time, i also find that most people dont like to be photogaphed at a monents notice.
March 15th, 2009 at 2:37 pm
I would like to have the camera with me all the time but the DSLR is the only one fun enough to be worth dragging around. Trouble with that isn’t just dragging around the accessories and all that weight, but also worrying about theft and mugging as I’m often on foot or bicycle and there’s a crime area between me and everywhere else!
March 22nd, 2009 at 10:55 pm
My next “best” picture is the one I haven’t taken. So I keep my camera with me all the time. I’m constantly looking for shots that would make a good picture, and hopefully via Photoshop make it a Great picture!
April 17th, 2009 at 1:36 am
I always have my dSLR with me – and the cell phone of course – even when I’m out with one of my ‘retro’ film cameras. The dSLR normally has an older manual focus lens fitted.
May 22nd, 2009 at 2:17 am
Unless I’m just in an awful mood and need a break from the constant camera mode I am always in, the camera is always with me, out and ready.
May 22nd, 2009 at 2:38 am
I usually try to do a picture a day which I post on a PBase account http://www.pbase.com/fred_gary . If I don’t have my DSLR with me I have my Canon A630 and as always my cellphone which I have used very rarely.

i believe that it has alot to do with age as well. i am a 19 year old college student, i dont generally have a camera with me, although i love photography and do go out on days just for taking photos and sometimes i bring my camera to my friends house, but im at the age where its not practical on the bus / my gear feels precious on my low income / dont want ppl to think im crazy. so no i dont carry one around with me BUT
i know that wen i am a little older and have a generous income i wont worry about putting a thousand bucks to good use. alsoo when i have my own children one day, i can totally see myself carrying a nice big dslr EVERYWHERE with me. infact i know i will. and when im a grandpa, ill never be seen without a camera as well.
also with girls, they have purses so its a bit easier. but id like to know the ages of people on this post as well please :)

I take my camera bag and D2x with me EVERYWHERE. I shoot 20-300 pictures a day depending on the assignment or my mindset. “If it’s worth taking, it’s worth taking well!” My wife nags me about my camera bag size as in “can I get you a bell-hop?” (It’s really not that big) Then when I leave it at home and my wife see’s something cool I get razzed when she says “why didn’t you bring your camera?” I love it…….

I take my Panasonic TZ5 everywhere, every day. Whenever the circumstances allow me to carry a bit more gear, I take my Nikon DSLR. It seems that if for some reason I don’t have a camera with me, the best photo ops present themselves. Driving to work this morning I came across amazing sidewalk art and a larger-than-life paper mache sea captain in someone’s front yard and to top things off, there were butterflies everywhere.. My camera, for once, was left sitting on the kitchen table. I’m hoping for the same good photographic juju tomorrow. Oh, well…
